The Prime Minister’s Export Award (PM’s Export Award) is organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP). It was first established in 1992 and is recognized as the highest honor from the government awarded to outstanding exporters. The award acknowledges the potential and dedication of Thai entrepreneurs who produce high-quality products and services that meet international standards. These entrepreneurs have successfully built businesses that thrive on a global scale, contributing to sustainable growth in international trade.
PACS (Thailand) was also honored with Best Exporter category in 2021, under the theme “Succeed Beyond Success”, recognizing our contribution to Thailand’s export sector. The theme highlights entrepreneurs who create added value in line with global trends, such as driving innovation and design, operating businesses with a focus on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the BCG Model (Bio-Circular-Green Economy).
Over the past 30 years, many Thai entrepreneurs have achieved success and advanced their organizations, with a total of 672 companies receiving 787 awards under the PM’s Export Award. These awardees represent the pride of Thailand in producing products and services that are globally recognized. When considering just the “Best Exporter” category, there have been 122 recipients of this prestigious award over the past three decades. In the past five years, the Best Exporter award has been granted to an average of 5 to 9 companies annually, with these businesses collectively generating over 60 billion baht in export value and national revenue.
Clearly, the PM’s Export Award is more than just a recognition; it serves as a mechanism that encourages Thai entrepreneurs to enhance their competitive capabilities. It also inspires new generations of business owners to follow in the footsteps of their successful predecessors, collectively driving the country’s export economy towards sustainable growth. This aligns perfectly with the theme: “Succeed Beyond Success”.
